Installation, Delivery & Warranty Information

Delivery & Lead Times

All veranda and pergola systems are manufactured to order. Lead times vary depending on the product range, size, colour, and optional extras selected.

Indicative lead times are provided at the quotation stage and confirmed before order acceptance. Changes to the specification may affect delivery schedules.

Installation Services

Professional installation is available for all systems. Installation includes structural assembly, fixing, alignment, and weatherproofing in accordance with manufacturer guidance.

Installation scope, duration, and access requirements are confirmed following site assessment. Installation services are quoted separately where applicable.

Groundworks & Base Preparation

Groundworks are not included by default with veranda or pergola systems.

Where required, groundworks may include:

• Foundations or concrete pads
• Drainage considerations
• Base preparation for freestanding structures

Groundwork requirements are assessed on a site-by-site basis and quoted separately where needed.

Customer Site and Structural Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the installation area, foundations, supporting structure and fixing points are safe, accessible and structurally suitable for the proposed installation. Blakesleys does not undertake structural engineering assessments or verify the load-bearing capacity of existing buildings, roofs, terraces, decking or foundations unless expressly agreed in writing.

For a rooftop, balcony, elevated terrace, commercial premises or other exposed location, Blakesleys may require calculations and written approval from a suitably qualified structural engineer before installation is scheduled.

Blakesleys and its installers reserve the right to postpone, suspend or refuse installation where the site, base, access, supporting structure or proposed fixing arrangement is considered unsafe or unsuitable. The customer may be responsible for reasonable additional costs caused by an unprepared or unsuitable site, including aborted visits, labour, travel, plant hire and return visits.

Installation Types

Systems may be installed in different configurations depending on product type and site conditions, including:

• Wall-mounted installations fixed to an existing structure
• Freestanding installations supported by posts on all sides

The proposed installation method is reviewed during the technical assessment. This assessment does not confirm the load-bearing capacity or structural suitability of existing buildings, roofs, terraces, decking, foundations or fixing points.

Warranty & Support

All systems include a manufacturer-backed warranty covering aluminium frameworks and specified components. Warranty terms vary by product and supplier and are provided at order confirmation.Free gifts are only available while stocks last if the item/gift is out of stock then the promotion isn't active.

Ongoing support is available for:

• Maintenance guidance
• Warranty queries
• Optional upgrades or accessories

Returns & Cancellations

As veranda and pergola systems are made to order, cancellations, returns, or exchanges are limited once manufacturing has commenced.

Full terms are provided at the quotation and order confirmation stages. Customers are encouraged to review specifications carefully prior to order approval.

Planning & Compliance

In many cases, verandas and pergolas fall under permitted development. However, planning requirements can vary depending on property type, location, and local authority rules.

Customers are responsible for confirming planning compliance where required. Guidance can be provided during the quotation process.
